The Chief Medical Director of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Amaku-Awka Hon. Dr. Joe Akabuike yesterday received team of Professors from the West African College of Surgeons in his office. The team from the faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology were in the hospital for the purpose of re-accreditation of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The team which has Prof. Patrick H. Daru as the Leader came to analyze the hospitals level of upgrade as it concerns Medical Service delivery, especially in the department of O&G Prof. Daru from the University Teaching Hospital Jos, in his speech said that their visit was purely to look into the hospital facilities in order to ascertain the hospitals input as it concerns the Modern Medical Service delivery and also to know the hospitals preparedness to train the resident doctors.
