THE NIGERIAN ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION (NOA) ZONE 3 Pays Courtesy Visit To COOUTH CMD.

The zone 3 of the Nigeria Orthopaedic Association on Wednesday 29th May 2024 paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of COOUTH, Dr. Joe Akabuike.

The visit was born out of their scheduled ordinary general meeting held at NMA Hall in COOUTH.

The Chairman of the association Dr. O. Maduka in his speech thanked the CMD for providing them an enabling environment and for receiving them in his office irrespective of his tight schedule. He also noted that the visit was to establish a cordial relationship between the hospital and the organization.

The CMD in his response, welcomed the group of Doctors and thanked them for finding him worthy for such homage.

Dr. Akabuike also admonished them to always have a human relationship when it comes to handling of patients, having in mind that all branches of medicine is not like buying and selling with the intention to make profits after sales rather, it has to do with passion and empathy.

The CMD finally wished the organization a very happy deliberation on their O.G.M and also promise to be of help in his own capacity to ensure that they have a seamless stay.

In attendance were, Dr. Mba Emmanuel. Dr. Ifeanyi Ezeobi, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu (all orthopedic consultants)
